Cant we just get extra towels on night 1 then get our rooms off the list of housekeeping? ROB! --- did you get a "2 separate beds" room? did you tell them youre traveling with youre "cousin", LMAO. I told you i'd be willing to pony up the few extra bux for the "bridal suite" with a heart shaped hot-tub right in the room, hee hee. sponge bob PJ's and flamingo slippers, eh? I usually trudge around in my underwear and workboots to get the mail at 2 in the afternoon,LMAO, I guess i cant go trudging about the halls at night in my underwear there. ROb, did we get a POOL? ROb, did we get a hot tub somewhere in the building? ROb, do they have decent paid escorts there? LMAO I want one without a skin infection this time (lmao) ------------------ "10M High Power, or BUST !!"

Sed,It does have a double I got dibs on the top bunk, LMAO.. I think we can cannon ball the crap out of the pool... They have never seen the hurt-in I plan to put on the continental breakfast... I can eat my weight in donuts and cereal.. And a couple gallons of OJ.. Me and Sed on KP... Well two guys who might cook toast with a Blow Torch.. You might have to reconsider that one.. But Pizza 2 or 3 meals a day worked for about 5 years of my life. Hey Sed , can we live on Reese's Cups and Mt Dew for 3 days? Paul, I went to part 2 but wasn't around for the first one.. I was a big Green Day fan at the time.. ------------------ HEAD SHOTS DON'T LEAVE BLOOD TRAILS , CAN'T EAT THE HORNS.. Rob [Edited 1 time by Rob.D.W on 07-09-2006 at 09:22 AM]

Sed,Yes there is a pool and a hot tub on location. I think the only escort you'll find is someone to escort you off the property, should you decide to wander around the place with nothing but underwear and work boots. That is not a sight that I want to see anyway... Paul, The lobster fest is Saturday night, which I assume will be at the clubhouse. I'll let Clayt respond to this personally, but from what we've discussed the cost for the dinner will be $25 which would include: 1 boiled lobster, steamed clams, hamburgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob, potato and macaroni salads, dinner rolls and frothy adult beverages. I have to give Clayt a total head count several days prior to this so we know how much food is needed. I'll also be collecting the money for this to send and/or bring up to Clayt. I doubt anyone would complain about other food being brought up there. Aside from burning a lot of powder, I'm good for consuming big piles of food too. Rob will have some serious competition at the hotels Continental Breakfast. Even if I wanted to get rid of MC (not sure where that came from) he's kin so I'm stuck with him. Speaking of kin, yes I have been to Woodstock, but it was about 30 years too late for the big party. My parents moved up from the city not far from there and I've passed through there numerous times going to Numrich Arms and e-gunparts.com which is located right next to Woodstock in West Hurely, NY. Rob, Cooking toast with a blow torch? I think that the hotel would frown on such a thing. Also I don't think it would be a good idea to setup this, or anything similar, at the hotel.

Paul, I was hoping you would elaborate on this more when you made your next reply. What do you mean by "get rid of MC"? I'm sure he's just as curious about this as I am. ------------------

4thebrdz,
What in hell prompted this remark? If there is anything I have said or done to ruffle your feathers, be it in this or some past life, would you please stand up and let me know. One thing you can count on is that I will be there and am eagerly looking forward to meeting ALL participants, shooting, eating, and generally just having a good time. See you there.

by "flusher", I assume you mean a TOILET ??geez. I thot that was a darn hair washing sink. I mean, it works great for that. After soaping up and done washing yer hair, you just yank the lever, and it carries all the soap away like a rinser. (sigh). A couple yanks of the lever and youre done. Now that you mention it, it WOULD make a pretty handy toilet, too. I guess i'll have to put in ANOTHER one next to it, for the hair washing. I DID wonder why everyone was Sh!tt!ng in my hair washing sink. Go figure, eh?

This is going to be a very memorable event. Just the fact that Rob and Sed will be in the same place at the same time is priceless. Not to mention their drive together from PA to ME!Paul, I didn't take any offense, I was a little confused where that came from, that's all. Yes, MC is kin. He's my cousin and even though I call him a redneck, he's more like a brother to me. Don't worry, your are safe. I created a directory and put up a web page (finally) for this event. This will be were all the photos, video, and commentaries will be uploaded to. The RLB STOCK 2006 Flyer (in PDF format) can be opened and/or printed. Page 2 of the flyer is the registration form. This only needs to be filled out IF you want me to mail you a Registration Card . The Lobster Fest is going to be $25. If you plan on attending this, I need to receive payment of this by July 31, 2006. Additional information is included in the web page/flyer. Just a reminder, that while there are trap fields at the club, there will also be an additional charge of $2.50 (for singles) and $5.00 (for doubles) payable at the time of shooting. I think that everything is set. If anyone thinks of something else, don't hesitate to post it. ------------------

GREG --->question: can we just PAYPAL the lobsta money in? registration card mailed to us: remember when we discussed a bunch of "official looking" logo's and such... be generous with NRA and NBRSA (national bench rest shooters assoc'n) and IPSC logo's all over the thing, LMAO. Makes it look more "legit" and "real" if any of us just HAPPEN to get pulled over in a "sissy kayak tofu state", LMAO (I am thinking particularly of ME and ROB, in the SAME VEHICLE), have a heart and friggin' PLASTER a sheet or two with official logo's and rules and such. Remember, HALF the ballgame is "looks" might not hurt to put a few fake "big grand prizes" for some of the "competitions" ?? I know I'n being PARANOID, but... if a hundred of us start moving towards the place, prancing thru state after state, SOMEone will get pulled over, and is gonna have GOBS of guns and ammo and "stuff" in the car. You never know WHICH boy in blue will think "this is weird", and a really good "look and feel" on the papers and reg. card, with logos and prizes would go a long way towards the guy going "oh, i see... good luck, sir..." ------------------ "10M High Power, or BUST !!"

sed- Paranoia? Keep a low profile while going through thr tri-boarder region (NJ,NY,MASS) once you get to NH don't mention me, hop skip jump to Maine and your there. Pull hats down to hide orange or purple hair, or better yet don't and it should be a breeze. If you do get stopped call ACLU and NAACP for legal instruction. Don't waste the "one call" on bail money. Too many NRA decals may just draw attension to the cargo. Tell the authorities that you have a secert password that you can not devuldge. Oh between the two of you , I bet you could come up whith something. Good Luck!!

Sed,Yes, you can use PayPal to send in the $25 for the Lobster Dinner . I could copy and paste a bunch of logo's from the NRA, NBRSA, and IPSC as you suggest, but they are not sponsoring this event. Aslo, if I plaster a ton of logo's, rules, and prizes, it wouldn't be a card, it would be a book. The flyer has the clubs logo, address and phone number. It is an established gun club and they are sponsoring an official event. The best thing I could suggest is to go to the web site http://www.packing.org/state/ and print out the rules for transporting firearms through the States you will be traveling through. Keep them with you during your trip. If you spend a little time doing some research online, you could pull up the actual laws from the State web sites as well. If you look back through this thread I even posted some of them for New York State and New York City. Surprisingly enough, even NYC allows you a 24 hour window of passage, while transporting firearms to a sponsored match. No disrespect to the boys in blue as I know there are some of you here, but your average LEO does not know all the details of the firearm laws in their State. Even the web site packing.org suggests that you print out the State laws. This is all moot if you are only bringing long arms. If you are bringing handguns, simply keep them unloaded and locked up in a case and keep the ammo stored separately in another case or bag. Put the guns in the trunk and ammo inside the car or for those without a trunk such as SUV's or vans, put the guns in the back and ammo up front. Common sense is going to go a lot further than any flyer or registration card that has logos plastered all over it. Once Rob picks you up, you will have to go through New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire to get to Maine. You might have to cut through part of northern New Jersey if you take Interstate-80 east. As Paul said, keep a low profile. Don't speed and blend in with the traffic while driving. Don't weave in and out of lanes thinking you're playing a video racing game. No nipple dancing in the car while Rob is driving, that will surely get you pulled over in parts of Connecticut or Massachusetts! If you do happen to get pulled over for something, let Sed do the talking. The cops up here will need a translator to understand Robs heavy southren accent! ------------------
