Comments & Suggestions: A quarter can cover a three shot group at 100 yds and muzzle velocity is just over 3000 fps. I have tried many different loads and had the velocity over 3275 fps but nothing I tried could hold a grouping like the load that I am presently using. The area that I hunt moose in will seldomly produce a clear shot beyond 200 yards and it is usually nessesary to pick your target through thick bush. I find that the accuracy is a fair trade for the maximum hitting power that this rifle can produce.

Comments & Suggestions: I shoot Sierra factory seconds for bullets because I live close to the plant and can buy the bullets by the pound. Also shoot surplus powder from High Tech Powder Co. in St. Louis. It's fun working up loads, and so long as you hand weigh charges, it seems to shoot almost as consistently as commercial powder. I literally get a lot more bang for the buck this way. I load for .223, .243, 25-06, 6.5 Swedish, .270, .30-06, 300 Win Mag, and .45-70 Govt.
